CD Facts (POTF Twitter Account)
#1 "Change" was originally composed in 1991. The version on Twilight Theatre went thru many changes (heh), but the first verse is almost intact.
#2 The basis for "Dreaming Wide Awake" was created on a live radio show when Marko & Olli demonstrated how a new song is born.
#3 One of the titles considered for the album (+ one of the songs) was "Sundog Season". Both words can still be found in the lyrics.
#4 Percussion Jari played in "Change": a shaker, 2 tambourines, a cajón, a march snare, and something we don't know the name of...
#5 "War" plays in three different keys and three different time signatures - a record for a POTF song, we think...
#6 When recording the bass for "War", Jani consumed 4 cans of energy drink and half a packet of candies.
#7 Olli's quick demo of acoustic guitar solo in "Change" had a sound&feel we just couldn't achieve later.. so we used the demo.

The song Maybe Tomorrow is a Better Day was available on our website for about three weeks. The number of downloads during that time was simply unbelievable. After the song's release, the traffic on our website was over 20 times bigger than normally for many days!

"Maybe tomorrow is a better day...
... Is all about hope. Hope, now, is a tricky thing. A real double edged sword. It is the sole power that keeps mankind on it's feet. Heads up and at it. Even in time of crisis. An invaluable force of nature. But as hope can be true... it can also be false. We choose the way to go, but will the road set us free? I wrote the lyrics to 'Maybe tomorrow is a better day' in context with this duality. In other words, where there is hope there must be doubt. There is no one without the other. And so, devilishly, parts of the lyric can be experienced either as doubting or as giving true hope... it is up to you to give it meaning." -- Mark
